Indie songstress Phé clearly takes her time between releases, but so far she is 3 for 3. We were first blessed with the singer’s sounds in 2016 with the love-making ballad “Incredible,” which was followed by the infectious “About Us” last year.
On her latest track, “Feel You,” the singer-songwriter continues to build on her musical style that blends contemporary R&B with a tapestry of electronic sounds. Over production by by Jaime Estalella, Phé recalls a past love and as she sits in the emotions that are still painful she just wants to feel something, only for a moment.
“My eyes are sore from always seeing your reflection in the faces of these men,” she sings. “Did I imagine the ‘I love you’s’ the forever’s’? / Now we’re apart can’t say that we belong together / If I could go back wouldn’t change things whatsoever / Just wish I could feel your love / Need a reminder of.”
There is no word if this track will land on an upcoming project, but we are hoping to hear more from the budding singer this year.
